Bloggers Picnic

Hello everyone out there !!

After  long long vacation, I am back to doing what I love doing most.....COOKING !!

It's an addiction.

For all asking.....Here's a sneak peak.....to all that I did.
Attended a picnic in December 2013 that I must tell , you all about here.

A Picnic of my lifetime, in Kolkata.....hadn't seen most of them before. Passion for food and cooking brought us together on facebook. Now meeting face to face, I have met gems. Some of us went from Delhi, one friend timed his visit from UK to attend the picnic. Food was the focal point in this picnic.
5 BBQ dishes engineered by some of the members were outstanding !!
Exact words of Ushnish Ghosh, Blogger and friend.

The destination was Babur Ghaat....

The bus journey begins

It was super exciting to travel by bus together with everyone . It was a long journey but really an unforgettable one.The journey was far from boring. My new friends Suman Bhowmik,Victor Ghosh,
Sabyasachi Basu , Ishani, Sanhita and others made the journey a memorable one with their sense of humour.

The whole group welcomed us with open arms and it felt as if we had been friends for ever. The whole group was involved in the cooking and serving . It was a day full of fun and the bus journey back was almost making me sad when someone suggested we halt for a few minutes. It was enthralling when we stopped for steaming hot tea and fritters together in a small roadside "Dhaba". It was a highway journey to remember for life. My FaceBook friends made the occasion unforgettable.
